The European Left Has a Split Personality Disorder
I have a lot of issues with the European left. Especially their split Personality Disorder. It is one of the reasons, why I am one among millions of non-voters.

I have a lot of issues with the European left. Especially their split Personality Disorder. It is one of the reasons, why I am one among millions of non-voters.
Capitalism is full of curious contradictions. For instance, capitalists think that the state should not intervene in the markets. Except when it comes to the labor market.
The Football world cup in Qatar has officially begun. Once again, our media floods our screens with euphoria about it. Sure there is a bit of criticism here and there. Yes, there are some minor issues with LGBTQ+ rights. And sure, the occasional migrant worker gave his life for this PR project. But come on. It’s football.
One key argument to sell the idea of liberalizing public infrastructure is the price. Prizes will drop because of increased competition. That is the tale of the neoliberal fanatics.
Most people in rural areas have lost faith in the established center-left parties. They no longer believe that these parties do anything to improve their situation. They have good reason to. Even the leftist parties have embraced neoliberal narratives.
The only logic behind capitalism is to commodify everything. Nature, Basic public infrastructure, and even human connections.
We even commodified friendships and romance. So nobody actually gets to experience what that actually is anymore.
You are only a fully emancipated person if you have your own household. At least, that is what we have been conditioned to think. In a capitalist society, it is incomprehensible, how some people can choose to not follow this path. We are obsessed with individualism.
You don’t have to have a Ph-D., to see through the dumb western propaganda narratives. They are not very believable. The only reason western media can uphold these narratives is by leaving out a majority of facts.
So, the U.S. conducted another drone strike on foreign territory. They killed a suspected terrorist leader without due process. And our media is cheering. Despite the fact that the U.S. again violated international law.
